And the worst blogger award goes to....

Me.
I have been a terrible blogger lately.
I have taken one picture in the last month and a half despite having my camera in my purse at all times.
We are pretty boring.
I, Laura, wake up super early. Go to work at the gym. Come home and take a nap. Work some more. Make dinner (sometimes). Get ready for bed. Repeat.
Tyler wakes up super early. Studies. Goes to work. Goes to school. Studies. Eats the dinner I make. Gets ready for bed. Repeats.
We were able to get a nice break from the monotony of our lives and enjoy Thanksgiving in Richfield.
So we are still alive, just not too exciting. So we will continue to read about your exciting lives and keep you posted if anything great comes our way!

(The one picture I have managed to take, please no comments about being "classless")

“Pleasure and action make the hours seem short.”

It was so fun to be able to spend time with these wonderful people this weekend. Thanks to Amylee for staying with us and sharing your beautiful little Annie. Also, thanks to all you other people for making our lives so rich and making us laugh till it hurts! We love you.
Also, thank you to Tyler for enduring two days of Shakespeare. You are a good man!

Birthday Celebrations

Last week was my 21st birthday. The celebrations spanned two and a half weeks! I am so spoiled and so lucky to have so many people who love and care about me. It started with a weekend with the McAllister family. We celebrated all the birthdays in August. Yummy food and good company! Happy Birthday to Tanner and Mandi too!
Then we took the next weekend and went to Salt Lake. I spend Friday night in Park City with my girlfriend and Franki, who was also celebrating her birthday! We ate, shopped, and laughed a lot. Later on Saturday night my mom threw together a Luau party with just the siblings and their spouses. It was so great to be able to spend time together.
My birthday was the following Thursday and Tyler once again spoiled me. We had friends over and it was a great day! I am so grateful for the first 21 years of my life and I hope the next are just as great!

After four years...

I finally finished this quilt. I have preconceived notions about sewing and usually get frustrated to the point of tears when I do it. So looking at this quilt in a hundred pieces made my head spin and I just put it in the back closet and forgot about it until this weekend. My friend Jody and I decided we would just get it done! I am so pleased with the finished product and just happy that after four years in the making it is complete!

At the Aquarium

Last week I was able to visit and spend time with Melissa and Eden in Lexington. It was so fun to be out there and be in their world. We did a lot of cooking, eating, vegging out, and then repeating, but it was just what both of us needed. I had so much fun! Thanks for having me Melissa!

Lake Trip

We spent a day at the lake with my family. Everyone had so much fun and the kids were so cute. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed tubing, wake boarding and skiing. I got up on a single ski for the first time ever and actually skied, it was awesome. We are so lucky to have such wonderful family to spend time with and that we live in such a beautiful place that we can do these fun things!
