Hole in the Rock

For Christmas Tyler decided to plan a trip for his parents to visit the Hole in the Rock. We spent the vacation riding the trail that his pioneer ancestors had walked. It was a very neat experience to see all the trials that they had to overcome to settle the San Juan Valley. The trip took us three days and was about 75 miles on Razors and Jeeps. It was a wonderful vacation to be able to spend time together and have gratitude for those pioneers who sacrificed so much.

I just finished a book about those pioneers and it was an amazing story. You should read it, I think it's called The Undaunted by Gerald Lund. Very inspiring! I miss seeing you! Great job on the wasatch back!!
